This hadith reflects the way I see the work I do. To me, building is not simply about creating products, starting projects, or developing technology. It is about using the skills and opportunities I have to help the people around me and contribute something meaningful.
I'm Azhan, a builder, software engineer, and founder. My journey has crossed software, entrepreneurship, community initiatives, and humanitarian work, and while the projects look different, they all come back to the same idea: set things up, bring people together, and create something that helps others.
Whether it is a mobile app, a web platform, a buildathon, or a humanitarian project, the mindset stays the same: identify a problem, understand the people affected by it, and do whatever I can to build a solution. The technical side is only one part of it. The other part is understanding people, bringing the right ones together, and creating something that keeps benefiting others.
I believe everyone has something valuable to contribute, and sometimes the most important thing you can do is create the structure, opportunity, or platform that allows others to contribute theirs. My projects are not isolated accomplishments. They are different ways of pursuing the same purpose: helping people, solving problems, and setting up things that let others benefit.

So off the screen, that is where you will find me: with a coffee in hand, out on a bike ride, or travelling, sitting somewhere new and exploring what Allah has created, watching the world go by.
I'm still learning, still building, and still looking for ways to use what I know to serve the people around me. If I can build something that makes someone's life easier, creates an opportunity for someone else, or helps a community become stronger, then I consider that time well spent.

Selected Works
CharityOngoingرؤية الخير, the student-led charity I founded in February 2024. One Ramadan drive became RM194,759 raised and delivered across 41 campaigns, by hand: water tanks and iftar meals for Kassala in Sudan, flood relief in Sri Lanka, madrasahs, orphanages and refugee families across KL. I built the website too.
